Tell me something about yourself
"I first caught the music bug in 5th grade where I picked up the trumpet in school band. Within a few more years I picked up the guitar and never stopped playing. I was 15 when I started my first band in Cleveland, Ohio. We played everything from school parties to The Cleveland Music Festival. I moved to Beaufort, South Carolina at age 19 and began playing acoustic solo shows. In 2007 I was hired as House Musician of The Bohemian Hotel in Savannah. In the past 8 years of living in Savannah I have been able to live entirely from music and co-founded The Accomplices Band."
Tell me something about this song
"I have been a songwriter now for 15 years. In this time I have had the fortune to create a few songs effortlessly. This song seemed to write itself. 'Townes Blues' is about hitting a crossroad. So many times in life we deal with hitting a fork in the road and there is no telling which way to go. This song eases my mind every time I perform it. That's what singing the Blues is all about to me."
